Trained as a classical violinist Lex played in Carnegie Hall as a boy. Born with innate musical sensibility, Lex’s musical journey pivoted as his older brother played the sounds of Chicago House and Detroit techno picking him up from school. Lex’s interest in dance music was born, by day he was digging crates and by night was sneaking into NYC’s underground alongside his older brother.
Lex’s remarkable trajectory continued as he collaborated with some of the industry’s most renowned figures. Sharing the stage at Solomun’s Nikki Tiger club and opening Südpol’s garden in Hamburg.Further, he’s played gigs in London, including a guest set in Fabric’s Room 3. He’s left an indelible mark and proved himself as a versatile artist capable of seamlessly navigating techno and house.
Lex has entrenched himself into New York’s underground, consistently playing the ever so secret Commonplace, and the club circuit including: H0L0. Having lived in both Europe and Asia, Lex brings new sounds to New York, drawing inspiration from Panorama Bar, DC-10, and Seoul’s Faust. Lex has just returned to NYC from Berlin and is preparing to release his first track “Berlin is Calling”.
